I'm attempting to lose some weight, I won't say I'm on a diet because I'd be lying. But I am going to try to eat a bit better. Having a cooking channel is hard trying to keep your weight down, and with that, I slack making videos, not gonna lie. But at the same time, I'm trying to get my views back up as well. So why not document my weight loss journey while trying to eat a little cleaner. This is how I cook all of my steaks on the stove top Pansear on stove top for about 5 to 7 min depending on the thickness. All seasonings are substitutable.😃😃😃

I find when you add the neck bones the there's a layer of grease in the pot the next day/time you eat it, some say cook the neck bones separately?

Looks deviously , did notice that you had the ingredients? And what to used, but you didn't have the amounts down and for people that are not sure how to go about it or how it should really taste. Maybe bland because they didn't put enough in or overdid it, they didn't realize they had that much in it. For me to really follow someone. I like to see the whole recipe if cooking just guessing for ones not familiar with this type of food But really wants to give it a try, need amounts? Rather, it's one teaspoon, or maybe a teaspoon, and a quarter that gives them a direction. It's better to be a little under with the spices. Then over cause that can make a tremendous difference, you can't take away, but you can add.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Good morning, and thanks for watching. I would say to use about a cup of broth only. Once you cover the pan, the steam will make extra broth.

Is this similar to the Black-Eyed Pea Restaurant's "Baked Squash Casserole"? I used to love that recipe, and I am trying to find a copycat for it. Have you ever had BEP's version?
I've never had them, but my recipe is lovely
I have an added tip. Instead, try chicken broth in place of the water for your rice. Although your rice looks darn good, the broth will bring it up a notch.
